Interviewer: Can you talk about the takes on that particular scene? [refrecning the 'break up scene']
Jesse: I remeber there were alot of takes on andrews side-
(audience and cast memberes start laughing, while Andrew playfully punches Jesses' arm)
Jesse: (flustered, begins to back-track) no, no, no, please, uh no I was actually shocked that he was able to sustain this intensity because David Fincher likes to shoot a lot of takes and he was driving the scene-but what I was going to say was that I've never ever seen-and I've been in seven movies- seen in film an actor maintain that focus and intensity and emotional breadth the way Andrew did that day. It was shocking, and it was intimidating, and it was inspiring, and made for an uncomfortable car ride home together because he stirred me so, so deeply (audience awws)... It was exhilirating to experience, and frightening, frankly.
(audience and cast members cheer)
Andrew: (clearly embarrassed,with his head down) I'm not as eloquent as Jesse, sorry... I don't know... yeah, I think he's great.
